I couldn't be happier with this dress. It is exactly the way it looks in the photo. It's a flattering style and very comfortable. Well made. I am wearing it to a black tie dinner dance and but can see myself wearing it for many occasions.

What an ELEGANT, LONG, FORMAL DRESS! The stretch bodice disguises middle body weight wonderfully and is extremely comfortable. The dress is simple, yet the essence of elegance and allows one to wear any type of jewelry from simple pearl to bolder, big pieces. The front neckline gives coverage, but the v-neck back makes a great "walk away" statement. Heavy, excellent skirt material. I did need to have it hemmed a bit, but I only wore 2" heels.

This is a very flattering style of dress for me (size 16, age 53) and since I'm 5"10" I was thrilled that it was long enough! I was hoping the bodice was sheer enough to work for a wedding in a tropical location this winter. While I think it would be perfect for 3 seasons in the Midwest, I'm afraid I'll be too warm in Puerto Rico -- so I need to exchange it for something with a bit less coverage.

I am 5"5, 150 lbs, measurements 39, 33 41. I ordered 2 dresses for a black tie event, and my son's wedding next October. The other dress I ordered was a Kay Unger item #229241 which was my favorite in pictures, but the 12 was snug in the waist area, and the 14 was too big in the bust. This dress fit beautifully, and was very slimming. Even though the bridesmaids will have black dresses, I was a little worried about a black dress for the mother of the groom, But I read on"The knot" that it is acceptable if the bride agrees, and she does.
