The lovely bodice hit me too high on the hips making me appear boxy. Nice heavy satin skirt-- just a bit short for someone 5'9" tall.

Wore this to my daughter's black-tie wedding reception. It was simple, yet very elegant, not to mention extremely comfortable! The price was what "sold" me - what a great value, as I also wore another outfit (couture suit) to the ceremony during the day. Ordered it in midnight blue, as was my other outfit... accessorized it with multiple strands of pearls & drop pearl earrings...received many complements from our family & guests. Someone even commented "you have the classic mother of the bride look - what a beautiful dress!" It looks great in pictures, too! Yes, this is a dress I would recommend to others. Can't wait to wear it again!

This is the dress I'm going to wear to my son's wedding. I'm tall at 5' 9", not too big on top, but have hips that need managing. I didn't want something matronly, like a dress with a jacket, so this dress is perfect. It's stretchy on the top, gives me a waist, and drapes perfectly over my hips. It's also the perfect length, since length was a problem in finding something to wear at the weddings of my other kids. The color is beautiful and it arrived without a wrinkle so I know it will travel well to the wedding. I also thought it was a great bargain. I'm thrilled to have this dress!

After trying MANY dresses from MANY stores from multiple cities, I found this dress to be amazingly comfortable and my son felt "proud to present me at the wedding" in this dress. The February weather in Alabama is unpredictable, but this dress provides sleeves if it is cold and sheerness if it is warm. The satin skirt provides ease of walking. The bodice hides flaws and compliments your shape. The cost is most affordable. I highly recommend this dress.
