Simple elegance

"Classy" and "simple elegance" are the first words that come to mind when describing this dress. I'm not sure the picture even does it justice! I was shopping for a dress for my son's upcoming wedding. Initially I was not overly impressed when I saw this one on line, but it checked all the boxes-- navy, sleeves, and length. At the time there was only 1 available and it was one size smaller than I thought would be best. On a whim, I ordered it anyway. If I needed to return it, I could easily return it to the nearby Nordstrom store. Am I glad I followed my whim! It fit me like it was tailor made for me-- except the length. It was a little too long for my 5'6" height in lower heels. Again, it was convenient and easy for me to take it to the store for the length adjustment. Everyone who's seen it on me agrees-- it's perfect and very flattering! Simple elegance-- something like Audrey Hepburn would wear! Beautifully understated! The only shortcoming; when I picked it up from having it hemmed I noticed the store hadn't steamed the wrinkles from the satin skirt that occurred in shipping. I'm sure they will come out pretty effortlessly but that's something I would expect from an upscale store.

Prossimple elegance
This is a beautiful navy dress. The workmanship is fabulous. The dress is flattering and gives a nice curve. I generally wear a size 6 but it was out of stock. I ordered a size 4 and it fit wonderfully. I'm not sure if the size 6 have worked or not. The draping on the skirt is beautiful. The dress is very long and needs hemmed unless you are tall. I am 5'5'' and it will need hemmed even with 2 1/4 inch heels. I had to return it as I am unable to get the dress hemmed. It is pure simple elegance.

I love this elegant dress!! The fabric, style, the illusion bodice, and drape of the dress beautifully brought out the best features and shape of my figure. This is amazing since my husband told me it was the most beautiful dress he's ever seen and we've been married for 43 years. I wore it to a formal wedding and had many compliments. I highly recommend this dress!

Proscomfortable, non-wrinkle, affordable, great color, like sleeves
I bought this dress for my Daughter's fall wedding from Nordstroms and I am so happy with it. I am 5'4" and needed to adjust length (size 10 dress) and that is being done now - other than that it is perfect. I love the navy color and it is so comfortable. Great dress - I carried it around in a bag waiting to get in to the tailors and it was not even creased when I took it out of the bag. Am very much looking forward to wearing it in October.
