On the one hand, I LOVE IT! It picks up both liquid foundation and powders and places them flawlessly onto my face. I love the size and round barrel shape of the handle, and the size of the brush itself...very comfortable to hold. It is a serious workhorse and is a brush I would be using every single day because it really does it's job of making my face look airbrushed.
However...it sheds like crazy!!! After the first few times of use, I picked about twenty brush hairs off my face each time. I gave it a good wash in hopes of getting all the loose hairs out. This morning, I picked five hairs off my face after using it. Much better. But looking for brush hairs on my face is definitely not something I want to have to spend time doing every morning, so I'm hoping that it stops shedding.
If it stops shedding, I would absolutely recommend this product.
My Mac kabuki brush recently was ruined due to a bottle of serum breaking and soaking the bristles in oil that refused to come out. So I went to buy a new brush that I could use on my face. I love that you can use this with both a powder and liquid foundation. It blends easily and gives a soft finish. This is my new favorite brush!
This is a great brush it's very soft and does a great job stippling. My only concern with that is when I wash it out it not only washes out the make up but also the black coloring of the bristles of the brush which leads me to believe that the bristles have been died and are not natural. So every time I rinse it underwater with so it runs black even if I've only used foundation very strange I returned it
I purchased this and the Shiseido Foundation Brush, when compariing both brushes, the lady suggested that the small stiffer Shiseido brush is good for fuller coverage foundation while the MAC is good for light to medium coverage. I think I will use this brush for applying bronzer, but I have to agree with some of the reviewers that this brush is a bit over priced. The same kind of brush from Lancome is half the price.
