Owned Allen Edmonds for 25-years. Have 3 boots, 4 shoes and 2 sandals. My oldest pair is 18 years and 5-resoles, and should last a few more. My new Wilberts replace a well used 15 year old pair that just got a little too worn from travel. The only other shoes in my closet are Nike and Olukai. Though nothing beats my daily wear - Allen Edmonds!

Well made, sturdy feel, great fit, good traction. I think they will last a long time, and they can last even longer with recrafting when needed.

Truly Comfort Shoes

I must confess that I love these casual shoes just as they love my feet. They are familiar to me. The first pair of Wilbert Comfort Shoes I wore were brown and lasted many happy feet years in which they easily surpassed other shoes in comfort. The current pair are dark brown as I figured they were more likely to do well in more rustic walks. They are as comfortable as ever! And, you guessed it, I have ordered yet another pair, black in color, which I desired for many years and I am grateful is now available. I can't wait for their arrival!

Fantastic shoes out of the box

This is my second pair of the Wilbert Comfort Shoe. I still wear the previous pair (just got that pair overhauled by AE) which are a lighter color. This pair fits comfortably, looks great, and didn't even require a break-in period.
