excellent quality clearly not a comfort shoe

These shoes should not be advertised as comfort shoes. They are big, bulky and heavy. The quality is evident, but if you are looking for real comfort these are not the shoes to purchase.

I can walk all day with this and not feel anything but comfort and support. This my second pair of Wilbert shoes and is my favorite. I have 8 pairs of Allen Edmond shoes and love them. Would not buy another brand.

The Wilbert is an excellent shoe on all fronts. I have two in tan and black colors. One of the most comfies in my 51 pairs of AE.

Thin soles

Heels are poor design. Hollow pockets in runner heels. Wore through outer layer and now have holes in the heels. Never had this happen before with any AE shoes. Have been wearing AE shoes exclusively for almost 40 years.
