The shoes are very well crafted and comfortable. They make a rather dressy appearance for a casual walking shoe. I expect to get many years of service from them.

I'm wearing them now, as I write this. The wide version fit perfectly, and very little "break-in" needed. Very comfortable and looks great.

Discernable Drop in Quality

This latest pair of Wilbert Comfort shoes strikes me as being quite inferior to the first pair of Wilberts that I bought a few years ago. The earlier ones felt broken-in immediately, while these new ones are quite stiff and a tad uncomfortable out of the box. The tongue on the left shoe also seems to have been stitched incorrectly, as it skews to the left. While not impacting the fit of the shoe, it is unsightly. This is not the case with my earlier pair of Wilberts. Disappointing.
