I have lines around my lips and my lips have gotten thinner due to aging. I cannot tell you how much I love this liplolour. It stays on the whole day and I never need to worry about the color bleeding into the lines around my lips. I also use it to make my lips look fuller by drawing outside the lines :) One would make the assumption that this would be obvious to anyone else looking at me but somehow it works and makes my lips look years younger. I have not found it to be over drying but I do take it off with oil and moisturise overnight. I would send you a before and after picture if I could it is that impressive.
Little known secret for people, like me, who don't want to reapply lipstick all day long. Really stays on, even through dental cleanings. When they discontinued the color I preferred, I tried to find another brand with a similar color, there is nothing comparable...I just settled for another color from the same brand.
