I initially selected this product because I loved the color. It's easy to apply, but that's it. Once it dries (even after applying the gloss) I got thick waxy clumps on my lips. This "longwear" product is WAY overpriced as the outcome is just as cheap as the other brands one can purchase at CVS.
The color is so beautiful, but on me it brought out my lip wrinkles too much, even after the lip gloss. I am in my late 30s, maybe it will do better on younger lips...... Too bad, i really wanted to love this longwear lipstick so i would not have to touch up my makeup at work. i will try to find a similar color in other MAC lipsticks.
I've been wearing MAC cosmetics since they came out and love them. The only issue I've ever had was keeping lipstick on. Pro Longwear Lipcolor is suppose to last for a very long period (I think 6 hours), which it doesn't, but it does last longer than any other long last wearing lipstick out there. I wear multiple colors but wear For Keeps daily during the day. Its not bright at all and adds just that bit of color needed.
