Let me get the "cons" out of the way. This eye treatment is expensive. For .5 oz (standard eye cream amount), it is EXPENSIVE. If I could find something comparable for half the price I would jump. But I have not. This does what no other eye cream has been able to do for me, address at LEAST two out of three of my eye concerns (puffiness, fine lines, dark cirlcles) immediately and all three over the long term. The only thing that could make this product any better is if it contained an spf of at least 15 or 30. I hate to have to buy an extra product to protect my eyes during the day. But that said, I love this stuff! I have strayed many times and don't know why because no other eye cream has come close.
About my eyes: contact lenses wearer for over 15 years (so constantly pulling on my eyes); bartender for 5 years (late nights), allergies, and sensitive eyes that water at the slightest provocation. I am really obsessive about my skincare and am told that I look younger than my age, but to me, my eyes give me away every time. I am in my mid-thirties but my eyes look at least 5 years older so, although this eye cream is not targeted to my age group, I use it anyway because it works better than any of the other Clarins eye products to lift, depuff and brighten my eyes. No scent, does not irritate my eyes, I can use it all over ( on my lid, underneath, temples, everywhere) . It sinks in-- does not "sit" on top of my skin like some heavier eye creams do.
One word of caution: although it appears to be a cream coming out of the bottle, it is a "treatment"-- more serum -like. If you tend to have really dry skin underneath your eyes, you may want to add a purely moisturizing cream on top. It does contain shea butter, but drier skin types might need extra moisture.
It's not pure hyperbole when I say this is the closest thing to an eyelift in a bottle.

Proslightweight, absorbs quickly, love it!
I've spent a fortune on eye creams like La Mer, Chanel, etc, but Clarins Super Restorative Eye Concentrate is the best LONG TERM eye cream. I've used it consistently for nearly 2 years and it is wonderful. I was in the hospital for about a month without any eye cream and I swear - you could tell the difference. Try it! You won't be disappointed, but you do need to use it consistently to see results - use the entire bottle before making any decisions about continuation.
