I bought this cream as a means of preventing fine lines and just general maintenance around my eyes. Since using it, my eyes look a bit more refreshed. The product goes on smoothly and feels good on my eyes. I can't tell if it's preventing anything, as only time will tell, but I do not have any complaints.
First I'd like to say I still don't have to target lines or puffiness. But I have seen the time pass on my mother's and I resemble her with big eyes and a lot of area around so I decided, let's try this. She is like a Susan Sarandon. Strong eyes.
I started using this product about 2 weeks ago. I have timed it only to know what it does. The way the bottle works actually had me going crazy for a second, I thought the little dispenser had some sticker and it turns out it was just a rubber. Usually they have a little sticker. But anyway after a use or two I was happy. No improvement but no reactions either. Smell is fair, not too crazy. Although I only used when I went to bed. About 4 days ago, I notice this tiny rash in the inside of my eye (an inch up tear duct, in the top inner lid right under brow) like miniscule dots in my skin color. Also on the sides of the temple, where I was applying 'more'. There, it is more like bigger light pink hives. As for quantities. I only was applying about a dot / one pump of it in each eye.
I am using a concealer today. It's been now more than a couple of days and I am going to stop using the Clarins Total eye concentrate. One positive thing for me. It absorbed rather quickly and no mess. But I'm afraid my skin in very sensitive for this product. Or maybe it's targeted for more mature eyes.

Purchase this product with a lot of expectations. I will be 50 years old soon and I wanted to change my regular regimen using Chanel products to a product more target to diminish lines, wrinkles and under eye dark circles and overall treatment for the entire eye zone!!!! But sadly did not work for me. I develop an under eye puffiness the first time I used the total eye concentrate, as the day went by it went away. I used it for the second night ( this was a bad choice) This time I developed a severe puffiness under my eyes and eye lids. Definitely an allergic reaction!!! I hate to say this, but the idea of a product to target the entire eye zone got me all happy about it and I did not consider there were no customer reviews done on this product to go by and I ordered it ... and I can tell you is no good!!! at least for my eyes it took me 4 days for the puffiness to go away!!! I used the eye balm from LaMer to help me bring the puffins down.
