This is a great shoe for slipping on to play outside in cold weather. Also, it is a nice looking shoe that can be worn with nice clothes. Very versatile - not too clunky. It runs a little big but that may be because it's a slip on so my son's heel slips a little. He'll grow into them in the next month though so it's not major.

These were recommended to my 8 year old after he suffered an injury due to sports and poor quality shoes. They are great. He loves them. They are comfy, have great arch support, and nice heel cushion. Highly recommend. I said they were a little big because he can wear a 4.5 or 5.0 in a tennis shoe or a cleat but is wearing these in a 4.0 They run similar to dress shoes...a little big.

My son has been wearing these shoes for years and we love them. We tried the brand Geox and the shoes were not as cushioned and the inserts wear and come out. These came available again and my son couldn't be happier. This is a great shoe for a child with a wide foot too. Merrell's can be resold at a garage sale or donated because your child will grow out of them before they wear out.
