I swear no matter what I tried I could never get my eyelashes to curl. This eye lash curler finally did the trick and I'm finally able to see my lashes with eye makeup. Before they used to just blend in with my eyeliner and you could never see my lashes.

Did I get a dud?

Maybe mine is defective, but it is the worst eyelash curler I've ever purchased. It makes my Revlon curler from Target look deluxe. With handles so stiff that it barely opens to insert my lashes, it doesn't squeeze shut on the lashes to make a curl. Just limply presses them. I've tried it repeatedly and it is unwieldy, uncomfortable and stiff. I am so disappointed, as I love Bobbi Brown products. From other reviews, it seemed this was a higher priced and effective tool without having to go to the Kevin Aucoin cost stratosphere. I'm taking it back as soon as I can get to the store. Bummer!

Bobby's Curler Cooperative and Comfortable
PostedSeptember 29, 2014
Just purchased the eyelash curler. (reason for 4 stars and not five). Recommended by a friend. I have never thought to put more than six to eight dollars into this kind of product primarily because the pads are usually the culprit. I can't tell you how many times I have found my eyelashes caught in the crease of a pad and think, "there has got to be a better pad out there." Too soon to tell with this one - but did come with one refill. What I can say is that the Bobby curler is perfectly designed and slips on with ease and mounts with outstanding accuracy - no pinching. Extremely gentle and curls the lashes beautifully.
