Beautiful but not totally functional

I've been looking for a new wallet for years to replace my 25+ years old one. I have to agree with some of the other reviews about this one being very nice but not totally usable. I purchased this wallet for it's 7" size. By the time I got six cards, ID and some other items put where I wanted them the walled was bulky. I thought the card holder, with ID window piece, was removable. That would have made this wallet absolutely perfect. I love the color, got blue with pink, size, shape and everything else about it. I am returning this, keeping my old one and will continue shopping.

I was totally excited to get this wallet in the mail. Although it is high quality I found the slots for the credit card slots to be inconsistent. Although I realized it would be a tighter fit than my old wallet by time I went to put in my license it wouldn't even fit. I will be returning this item and looking for something different.

This wallet was a great size to keep all my receipts, but it didn't seem like genuine leather. Unfortunately, I will be returning this wallet. Love the color (I got the pink).

Thank you so much for your review. We contacted the vendor and learned that the genuine Italian leather they use is specially coated and finished for scratch resistance and durability. While the coating protects the leather, it also creates a slightly different feel than untreated leathers. We hope this information is helpful since it sounds like you love your new wallet otherwise. I agree with previous reviewers...both positive and negative.
Wallet is well made, great colors, yummy leather.
It has an amazing number of places to put things. Credit and affinity cards, cash, receipts, change...places for everything and more !
But you can't actually use them. I put 10 cards in plus 15 bills and some change in the change purse. Wallet would barely close. If you want to put a checkbook in with *anything* else you won't be able to close it.
It is like it was designed to have all these storage areas and close beautifully...just don't try to actually to make use of them. The design is puzzling. You end up with lots of extra, unusable leather/weight.
So go ahead and give it a try, but be prepared to return it if you value function as much as looks.
