Someone said in the review that they didn't like the thick, glue-like texture of this cream. Well, the thick, rich (NOT glue-like) texture of this cream was exactly what I was looking for! Thick, rich, creamy cream (different richness than La Mer) that was very emollient for cold winter months or if you have dry skin. I've tried it all and almost every brand.
I finally found the cream with the consistency that I was looking for and this keeps your face moisturized and hydrated immediately and you r skin is dewy and soft the next morning. I had some redness around the cheeks from adult acne at 40 something that laser treatments couldn't get rid of, and I saw an immediate difference in the first couple of days! It is worth EVERY PENNY!!!
I purchased this night cream in the hopes that it would save me some money, as I use Skin Caviar both day and night which is significantly more expensive. I was immediately put off by the thick, glue-like texture. Skin Caviar is so rich and creamy, and Night Repair bares no resemblance. I didn't particularly love the scent, which is rather indescribable. I know that many don't enjoy the scent if Skin Caviar, but I'm a fan. It didn't make my skin feel as soft or moisturized as I'd hoped, and I didn't experience any benefits.
A bummer, as it would have been a great cost savings. I've now switched to the original Creme de la Mer at night, which is rich and hydrating...and far less expensive.
Another must have La Praire product for anyone wishing to maintain a youthful radiant glow. Love this night repair creme for many reasons. The texture is somewhat sticky and is a little trippy to apply... It is solely for night time use prior to slumber. After your skin is washed and toned, the night repair is applied to your enitre face (omitting your eye area) neck and upper chest area. Wow, there is nothing else on the market that compares. I switch between the Anti-Aging Night Creme and the Cellular Night Repair Creme... Skin is very happy❤❤❤
