Proslightweight, absorbs quickly, rich;not heavy
In the past I actually have purchased La Prairie 'Cellular Radiance' eye cream...but I have to say that this significantly economic version is just as good;equally on par. It is very emollient and facilitates a suppleness to the eye area without causing watery product eye. The scent is pleasant but not over the top and the finish of the cream leaves no residuals evident via touching the eye area. I think this product is lighter than its mother product which also has skin illuminating properties. This eye contour cream hangs tough with its 'Cellular Radiance' counterpart without the additional properties advertised to provide radiance. I would be willing to guess that the use of the word radiance in the other product is the main reason for the cost differential.. If you are looking for a basic yet top notch eye cream you don't need to spend the extra $lucci$ for the product with the gold trim lid.. This one will suffice and is much more feasible in cost. As with any eye cream or product, you certainly have to start with candor about your level of skin health.. no product is going to be a skin messiah! Overall I think it will facilitate a healthier look and feel of the delicate eye area. You get what you pay for and this one is worth it!
I use this eye cream for a few months, and found it to be quite gentle and hydrating. While I feel it's sufficient for those in their 20s, being a woman and her middle 30s, I didn't find it had enough anti-aging benefits for me. I have since been using the Eye Lift cream, which is more appropriate if you want intensive prevention like I do. Using this product with the Essence of Caviar Eye Complex would help greatly, but if you're over 30 you're much better suited for the Eye Lift cream.

Prosabsorbs quickly
This is one great eye cream and the price is a bargain ! It's very moisturizing but absorbs in a couple of minutes. Great under concealer. Really helps with the dryness and the fine lines. I'm 35 and my husband is 45, yet it works great for both of us. LP is really good in the eye department.
