This item does what the label states by both hydrating your nails and hardening your nails. It can be worn alone as a clear cover or as a top cover to your polish.
I love all Deborah Lippmann products and this is no exception. My nails are short amd I am very active and polish stays on better with this product. I use the DL addicted to speed on top also.
