I’ve always bought my daughter the toddler converse with the velcro and have always loved them. Sadly they only make them until a size 10. We had to get the next size up and these fit totally different. The toe part is more pointy, the toddler/baby one is rounded. My daughter said they were uncomfortable, had to return. Why change the toe shape? They are cute but not good for childrens feet.
My daughter needed low rise black converse sneakers for her dance performance team. I could not find black anywhere (only white and red) but luckily Nordstrom had them online for me to order. The shoes are exactly what she needed and they were $10 cheaper than the white or red ones at DSW and on Amazon. Plus, they shipped fast! They were estimated to arrive on Saturday, but we received them the Wednesday before. Note to future buyers: Chucks can sometimes run big in kid sizes (the adult ones have always fit me perfectly) so you may want to order a size down or two sizes to try.
