These boots are perfect. I bought them in dark brown. I love the rugged classic look of them. They look great with dresses, jeans & a girly top, so nice. I consider my style femenine, classic & a bit vintage. This boot style completes the look. The leather is so gorgeous, durable. I shined it up with a conditioning oil & they look great. I listened to the other reviewers stating it was a size too large, but I do not agree. I am a 6 &1/2 - I originally ordered size 6 - they were way to tight. I ordered my usual size 6 & 1/2 & they fit perfect.

Love My Frye Boots

These boots are great - very fun and funky, and look great with jeans or skirts. The only issue is that they are way bigger than your standard size, so you should definitely order 1/2 size down. I wear 8.5 so I went to 8. Also, these boots were lighter than in the picture and also in the previous size I had to return. I wish they were a "tad" darker. All in all, they are durable boots and I love them - they still work with what I like to wear.

Cute but not worth the money

I am a true 8.5 and had to order these in an 8. Though the size 8 fit fine, the calves were weird. My left leg fit perfectly while the right calf was so tight it hurt to walk around with them on. My husband and I measured my calves with a piece of string and they are the same so it wasn't that my calves are two different sizes. And I have pretty small calves too. We decided to order another pair and see how those fit then keep which ones fit better. When I received the second pair the color was SO different I couldn't keep one from the first and another from the second. One was super dark and the other much lighter. Again, the right calf was much tighter. And just looking at the boots you could even see the difference on the boot. I understand you can have a shoe shop stretch the calf but for me, if you have to MAKE them work and these are pretty expensive boots it's just not worth the money. For as expensive as these boots are, they should fit really well. They do look cute on but the leather is REALLY stiff, they were uncomfortable on and they did not fit well at all. The Veronica slouch boots look much cuter and fit so comfortably. I returned both pairs of the Campus boots. Disappointed. :(

My favorite boots

I love these boots...everything about them! The color is a great neutral...I mostly wear these with skinny jeans but could go easily with a casual summer dress. The leather is thick and strong and looks better the more beat up they get...great for me because my 4 year old is always stepping on my feet! These took very little breaking in, and are quite comfortable in general. I am usually a 9 or 9-1/2 and I wear a 9 in Frye's including these. My only issue with these is that the pull tabs on the inside of the boot pulled off. However after wearing the boots a few times they weren't needed any more. Love them!
