There's a reason why this lip primer is usually out of stock- it's great! Living up north, the winter months cause my lips to be extremely chapped. But this lip primer actually helps smooth my lips so that any matte lip color will glide on smoothly, will last throughout the day, and will help protect lips from drying out while using matte liquid lipsticks.

I should have bought this product so many years ago. I suffer from chapped lip skin with most lipsticks. And guess what this problem is GONE, and for good!

Ok. So I am in mid 40s and recently became addicted to makeup in a major way. I have many types (mostly matte) lipsticks as well as about 100 matte liquid lips. I LOVE the way the liquid lip looks initially but it feathers and looks horrible within an hour for me. Lipstick at least you can reapply during the day. I have found that when the malfunction happens with liquid lip, you have to completely remove it and start over. There is no going over it. Now this product I was hopeful would make a big difference for me with the liquid lip but it unfortunately does not help with liquid at all. Whomever comes out with the product to help with liquid lip is going to be a star. This one does however help me with my mac product lipsticks. It makes a huge difference in longevity and it looks fresh as new for hours and hours. So what I though I was going to use this for did not work out but it works great for mac lipsticks as primer.

Nice idea, poor execution

This does not work as described for me. I have dry lips but love matte lipsticks. Was hopeful this product would be the solution to all of my problems but that was not to be. When going on it feels lovely but after a couple of hours my lipstick feathers as usual. This has been going on prior to Winter so it is not weather related. I will not repurchase this and am actively looking for a similar but better product elsewhere.
