It's strange to feel both elated and disappointed all at once but somehow Prep + Prime has achieved just that. It works!! It really really works!! My matte lipstick now lasts twice as long and looks awesome (no more gross "chunkiness"). Here's the downside - the lip product broke on me almost immediately! I don't know if it's worth it to exchange seeing as how this is a known issue that other reviewers have complained about, but I will still use it and feel irritated every time I have to nudge the lippy back into the tube. :(

On top of helping my lips look and feel healthy, it definitely lengthens the amount of wear time of my lipsticks. I prefer matte lipsticks which are somewhat difficult to apply, but this makes it easy

Ok bases for lipstick

So far I like this product but it's not my favorite. It does help condition my lips before I put lipstick on but other than that I don't think it extends the wear of my lipsticks. I do use it every time I wear a matte lipstick because it makes it easier to apply and it does make lipsticks less drying. I will use this primer but I don't think I'll be re-purchasing it after it's gone.

I love bright lipsticks ruby woo is my fave and have spent years trying to find a liner/primer that I could use for all colours . I have tried so many and have always been disappointed but...This is the best product ever! I love it and am so glad I found it. It keeps my lips moisturised and stops colour bleed, I also find the colour lasts a lot longer and does not dry out. I would never wear a lipstick without this now :)
