i have been looking for a primer to smooth lips and stop lipstick bleeding. upon applying this i thought it was lovely, my lips felt soft and smooth but this only lasted for a minute. it went very sticky with or without applying lipstick afterwards, this just made me want to rub it off. the lipstick did not bleed but it also did not stay on any longer than normal, so unfortunately for me not a good buy

I love this primer. It really brings out the color in my lipsticks.The only thing i hate about it, is it can break easily. Other than that, its great.

I love this product. It has become one of my "must" in my purse. My lips are more smooth and when I put my lipstick on, it holds on for longer time than not using the primer. What I find also very positive is that when I take my lipstick off, my lips are way more smoother. Love it.

I really wanted to like this lip primer, and I do like it, but not as much as I thought I would. I read the reviews and I guess I was expecting it to make a big difference in the "wearability" of my lipsticks and glosses. I can say that it seems to "sort of" prevent the clear glass gloss from gathering "white" at the corners of my mouth, but I can't really see a difference in the way it or any of the others look. I also tried it under a couple of lipsticks, but it just seemed to make them harder to apply and it really did not make them last. I still had that "blotchy" look to my lips and I had already exfoliated them. So...I guess I will continue to try it with some other lip products. I can say that my lips feel more moisturized. I still recommend and I LOVE MAC!
