STOPS FEATHERING!
PostedAugust 19, 2012
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ON THE MARKET TO STOP THE BLEEDING AND FEATHERING OF LIPSTICK INTO THE FINE LINES AROUND MY MOUTH. THIS IS THE ONLY PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS! JUST PUT IT ON, GOING A LITTLE PAST YOUR LIP LINE AND WAIT UNTIL IT GETS A LITTLE TACKY. THEN YOU CAN PUT YOUR LIP PENCIL/LIPSTICK/GLOSS/WHATEVER ON AND - NO FEATHERING!

Anti-slip mat for your lips
PostedAugust 18, 2012
Oh, I do so LOVE this product! This was introduced to me by a MAC artist when I was in-store looking for a matte red lipstick. I'm not usually someone who does much with her lips. A bit of gloss here, some cremesheen there, nothing fancy. Having said that, looking for siren red lipstick for a "new look" for me was an eye opener. I tried Ruby Woo without the primer, because I thought the primer to be a little superfluous and also thinking lip liner would be sufficient... Well, I thought wrong. The lipstick stayed somewhat, but my lips got so dry because it's a super matte lipstick. putting lip balm underneath eased the drying, but nixed the staying power of the lipstick... not good So off I went and ordered the primer online. It is the epitome of "Stay Put"! =) Wore the lipstick with everything and it stayed throughout dinner AND dessert. WOW! here's how I did it: Lip balm when applying my foundation, just to it has enough time to sink in (I do my lips last). Lip primer, letting it "dry" properly, lip liner, lipstick.. done..

bought this time a long time ago, I used it here and there but never was really impressed with it until a few weeks ago when I wore a super red, defined lip to a concert. The formula is a bit waxy and I advise you to apply it to lips and surrounding edges and letting it set. Then apply your liners or lipstick. Im not sure if it was the primer or the way i applied the color (liner, blot, liner, blot, lipstick, blot, lipstick blot) but man! i literally had to scrub off the color the next morning! I do have to say that it does feel dry on your lips, but your lips dont look dry - so i guess thats all that matters. I probably will buy again

i love makeup however never wear lipstick as ive always felt it just dont look right on me. after biting the bullet i bought hue lipstick as i love the color and it looks soo gorgeous on everyone else however, when i got it home and tried it i was horrified.it looked awfull, worse then other lipsticks and i was gutted. a few days ago i bought the primer however was unsure when i got home if it would b worth it to try or if i should just return straight away without even testing. Then, about 15minutes ago i was on here reading the reviews and thought, forget it ill just try it. and i came straight back to here in a rush to say III LLLLOOOOOOOVVVE IT!!!...the lipstick went on so smoothly and my lips have NEVER looked like this with lipstick on ever.even with balm or vasaline underneath.i know i have written an essay lol but i had to be honest as i am genuinly shocked how this makes my dry previously lipstick hating lips actually look great!.i say giv it a try
