Great lip primer... I am a makeup novice but I found this product to be very helpful in order to prep my lips before applying my darker lip sticks (before I usually just used lip stains and balms). I would recommend letting the primer "settle" for a couple minutes before applying any lip color. The primer itself looks like a skinny lip balm and has a lovely, light vanilla scent. A small warning: the product itself easily breaks off from the bottom of the applicator. I had read this on another site before using the product and, despite my caution, it broke after the second use... No big deal, just a little irritating (especially, I imagine, once it begins to run out). Despite this, I would recommend this primer and will most likely repurchase it in the future :)

I got chapped lips that lip balms or chap sticks rarely fix. I hate wearing lipsticks because of this. When I received this product I immediately put it on. It smoothed out my lips which was amazing! Then I put a lipstick on and it also went on smooth. I didn't see any of the dryness on my lips. I will definitely repurchase.

This item keeps my lipstick from running..and it works with every lipstick...this is important to me because I like to wear rich red colors on my lips.
I apply this before lipstick to keep color in place and prevent feathering into lines around my mouth. BUT… I especially like to use it with just a light color gloss. (I use it together with MAC Cremesheen Glass Lip Gloss) The lip primer feels great on its own, smooth and has a moisturizing feel to it. Together with the MAC lip gloss, it leaves my lips flawlessly smooth looking. No lines!!! Just love it.
