Since I have been using this lip primer, my lips feel so much less dry. In the cooler weather, it really is a bonus. It permits your lipstick to glide on smoothly too.
I "discovered" this lip primer a few years ago, and it's the only one I use. My skin - including my lips - is dry all year long, and without this, most lipstick is too dry and irritating...not good for a lipstick addict like myself! My lipstick stays on longer, and the best part is that it doesn't change the color of the lipstick. Also, this is great to use at bedtime. Since face primers are great to use over skin care at night, why not lip primer?
Great lip primer... I am a makeup novice but I found this product to be very helpful in order to prep my lips before applying my darker lip sticks (before I usually just used lip stains and balms). I would recommend letting the primer "settle" for a couple minutes before applying any lip color. The primer itself looks like a skinny lip balm and has a lovely, light vanilla scent. A small warning: the product itself easily breaks off from the bottom of the applicator. I had read this on another site before using the product and, despite my caution, it broke after the second use... No big deal, just a little irritating (especially, I imagine, once it begins to run out). Despite this, I would recommend this primer and will most likely repurchase it in the future :)
