This product does exactly what the description states. It adds light moisture, smoothes and refines the lips. I prefer a lipstick with lots of color concentrated in the creme. That can make it difficult to glide on. This product lets the lipstick glide without added goo and gloss, colorlessly. It was just what I needed.

It does a good job at smoothing and prepping the lips for lipstick. The lasting effect is not great but is not advertised for lasting.

This is a simple product that does exactly what it promises: it readies your lips for lipstick and, when taken outside the lip line, prevents most instances of lipstick bleeding into fine lines. I now keep one in my purse and one at home.

Makes lipstick stay put longer

Proslong-wearing, non-sticky, moisturizing
I am currently using Maybelline's Saks Fifth Ave Fushia & Loreal's Volcanic lipstick and it helped my lipstick stay put just a lil' longer, but I still have to re-apply during a work day, just not as often. It's really smooth and soft. My lips feel normal throughout the day. Haven't noticed any more drying or anything wierd.
