It feels so soft. It helps only if you apply it before lipsticks.

I love everything about this primer, sometimes I use it as a lip balm because its so moisturizing. I love how you can build it up, and it provides the most perfect coverage. It really makes your lip products last.

I'm 55 and fine lines along with dry, rough lips (even if they have been well exfoliated on a regular basis) are a thing now, which makes wearing matte lipstick difficult....until I bought this product. In addition to the fine lines and dry, rough lips issues, I was having some issues with patchiness, color saturation and staying power with the shade I wear often in the summer, Candy Yum Yum. This product has fixed all of those issues. I exfoliate with a hydrating lip sugar scrub, let that soak in for a bit, then wipe it off. Then, I put the Prep+Prime on and let it also sit for a bit. After a few minutes, I outline my lips with my lip pencil and then fill in with my shade. Prior to using this product, I would have to reapply my lipstick almost hourly and it never really looked perfect unless I put a thick layer of color on. Now, my color stays in place for hours and looks good the entire time. I'm usually a less is more type of person when it comes to makeup products but this will always be in my bag going forward. I HIGHLY recommend this product.
