So I liked this product but didn't love it. Especially for the price, I felt the prep and prime lotion (Which I LOVE) could just as easily be used on the lips....along with the face for the same great result. Call me frugal but this is just an extra I can do without.

I have been using this lip primer consistently for over 5 years now. If your using a lipstick that bleeds, this will keep that from happening most of the time. I find that I can reapply it twice a day, unless I eat something greasy. That seems to interfere with the performance of this product. Which is understandable. I would love it if MAC would make the size of this product larger.

Prep + Prime is amazing for the mature lip. It helps soften lip lines, moisturizes, and helps my favorite MAC lipsticks last longer. I'm so glad I discovered this gem, and can never go without it now.
