I have gone through several tubes of this product and use it for any lipstick formula and lipgloss. The trick is to know how to use it. I apply it on bare lips, give it about 30 seconds to get a little tacky, and then apply my lip product. It really extends the wear of my lipstick and keeps my lips moisturized even with the more drying formulas. I recommend giving this product a try.

OMG, I BOUGHT the Aalyiah collection and it wouldn't last so when I brought the prep& prime it lasted longer.

It leaves lips nice and hydrated, however I wouldn't say it is a primer. It doesn't really help with wear time. Also found that with some liquid lipsticks, that usually last all day, it made them crumble and peel of my lips within minutes.

In terms of the application we would advise applying your lip primer and leaving it for minute or two to allow it to go tacky on the lips before lipstick application - we would hope this would help in regards to the peeling and the wear time as this gives the lip product something to cling to. I am a mature woman with those annoying little vertical lines that lipstick tends to bleed into. Well, no more! This stuff is the bomb! Smooths, hydrates, prevents bleeding, holds your color longer, I'm just amazed.
