Waterproof.. and impossible to remove

As advertised this mascara is waterproof but was terrible to remove. I was literally picking clumps off my eyelashes after feeble attempts with my Philosophy face wash and Bobbi Brown eye makeup remover... lost quite a few eyelashes in the process which is most frustrating. Found also that when I did get water (in the form of sweat) in my eyelashes it clumped nastily.
This is the best mascara ever. Best waterproof, I'm amazed that it doesn't wear off, through tears, even swimming. It stays put in hot weather. Makes your lashes look thicker and longer. You 'lol make no mistake choosing Hypnose !!!
I got this as an alternative to the waterproof Definicils. I've used the regular Defnicils for years and thought it was wonderful, but in the last year or two, I've started getting "raccoon eyes." I migrated to the waterproof version in the last year, but am still having issues so decided to try Hypnose. So far so good, mostly. I've had a little smudging, but not as much as before. I'm only on my first tube and wonder if there's something defective about this tube, as the wand comes out pretty globby. Next trip to Nordstrom I'm going to look into it, but overall I've seen an improvement.
It add thickness but almost in a clumpy way for me, I don't dislike it but I don't love it either. I do have medium length but thin lashes. It doesn't smear & stays put so that's great & important since I have horrible allergies & watery eyes.
