Love this!!! It's great coverage on the eye lid so you can literally wear it by itself and it looks like a smooth nude eye. Hold eyeshadow all day without creases. I've used other brands of eyeshadow primer and this one by far is the best!
I've been using Trish McEvoy's Eye Base for probably close to 10 years. Its opaque, matte color corrects any discoloration giving me a more youthful look and keeps eyeshadow from settling into creases. It also keeps my somewhat oily eyelids dry so my makeup stays put. My go-to color is Bare, probably the most wearable/neutral color for most faces. I've tried Sand but find it too light, as well as Tan, which is a little too deep for me. I most recently tried Demure because I had never seen it before. It is different from the other color and I think it maybe should have it own category. Its sheer as well as having some sparkle, so its more like a aheer eyeshadow color than base.
This eyeshadow primer is a superior base for both crayon-type eyeshadow and powder eyeshadow. I've used it for several years - ever since I first discovered it, because I find it superior to any other eyeshadow primer I've tried.
