I typically wear a small in workout pants and the small fit great. I'm 5'6'' 130 lbs. The material is comfy and thick enough to not be see through. the waist is tight so the pants wear well for active work outs. Overall a great pant.
These are really well made yoga pants. The fabric is thick and creates a very flattering fit. I would definitely recommend. I am 5'4" and about 120 lbs and the small was perfect.

These are great for yoga, running errands, and with the right top/shoes can definitely be appropriate for more formal environments. (office, etc.)
I like that the waist can be folded so it sits on the hips -- it doesn't "roll" - which I think is a regrettable and misleading term.
I was searching for a fabric that was a cotton/spandex blend. Stretchy and breathable. I usually take a small (4-6) pants and these fit just right -- a little long if you wear them with flat shoes/sneakers --
