I ordered a half size smaller after reading other reviews. Unfortunately my feet were still swimming in these shoes. Comfy but way too wide. I couldn't even walk in them. Will be returning.

This is not a complaint about Nordstrom, but the manufacturer. I have worn these Minnetonka 'Kilty' moccasins for 4+ years now and I wish that I had read the most recent reviews before I had ordered this current pair. I ordered the size that I always have and something is definitely off. These aren't just a little looser than previous moccasins -- my feet are slipping and sliding (front-to-back and side-to-side) and I feel that I'm wearing clown shoes. In fact, when I put on my older shoes they feel comfortable and snug. Also, the new mocs are less structured / sturdy; and what had been a more rounded toe is now a more tapered toe -- perhaps due to the longer vamp. All-in-all, I feel this was a waste of time and money and am now on a search for a new favorite shoe.

Soft, casual shoe

These are very soft, classic moccasins. These are replacing an identical pair that was a few years old, which had held up overall, but the sole had come unglued, and the ties on the top of the shoe were ratty. The suede is flexible and soft, but there is not much support - they're great for the office, but I don't think I'd want to walk around in them all day.
I ordered these moccasins in black hoping for a substitute for black flats. I'm not sure they're formal enough for professional dress like I had hoped, but they are as pictured. I am usually a 7 and ordered a 6.5. The size 6.5 fits perfectly. Make sure you order a half size smaller!
