The Perfect Pant

This is such a great pant. This is my “go to” pant for work. I have it in three colors now, toast, slate, and ivory. I got the Delancey pant in black, and I wish I’d gotten the black in this cut instead. The fit is elegant and classic. The fabric has great flow and just enough stretch to make them comfortable. I like a roomy cut in my pants that doesn’t look sloppy. These are just right. This pant is not lined. I live in a very warm climate, so not having a lining is wonderful. The fabric is substantial enough, however, that the flow and coverage are good. I mix and match my three pairs with various jackets and blouses. This pant is truly versatile. I am a tried and true misses size 8, and the 8 is perfect on me. Thank you Nordstrom and Lafayette!!

I wish everything in life was as magical as Lafayette 148. This pair of pants is a basic and, at the same time, perfect for every business event. Pair them with a cotton shirt and I'm ready for a day of internal meetings. Or add a silk blouse and a Lafayette jacket (found at a great discount at Nordstrom Rack!) and I'm ready for a board meeting. The fabric is good quality so it drapes well - the fit is great. So, yes, it's like a fairy godmother that waves her wand and *poof!* I'm ready for work!
