Prosnot best choice
I've been wearing another brand for years, which costs half as much. I heard so much about Spanx so I gave it a try. Not worth the money. Not enough tighness on my tummy which is my worst spot. I'm returning it and buying the cheaper brand which works a little better on my belly.

Simply the best!!

Proscomfortable, slimming
The SPANX Slim Cognito Mid-thigh bodysuit shaper is simply the best! I don't even use traditional underwear anymore because these are so great. They hold everything in place without making you feel bound or stuffed. There's no panty lines, and with the double gusset, you don't have to worry about pulling it all the way back up when you need to use the restroom. Speaking of going all the way up, THEY GO ALL THE WAY UP, so there's no muffin top with these!!! Just sleek smoothness and flattering fit. I'm hooked!

Prosfrustrating
I bought a pair of these spanx to wear under a new dress that I had purchased for a special event. The dress was a little more "clingy" then I wanted it to be around my hips and butt. I wanted something that could smooth me out from stem to stern without leaving visible lines on my waist or thighs. I have a girlfriend that talks about her spanx and how much she loves them, all the time. So, I went to the store and tried them on. Once I had them on, I wiggled around in them to make sure they wouldn't slide or roll before I bought them... (Maybe I should have stayed longer)... The one thing I didn't do at the store was try using the straps with my bra. When I got home and was getting ready to go out, is when the fun started. The straps are hard to use and figure out. Once you get them on, they're too long for someone as short as me (5'1"). The body shaper sits nearly underneath my bra so putting straps on did no good. Also, I'm quite curvy (33, 24, 38) so clothing always want to slip down or ride up to my waist. Because of this, I wasn't able to wear the straps. The shaper was too heavy and just kept pulling my bra down (quite a site!) and so when I took the straps off, I found myself pulling at the top of it all night long. I wouldn't have worn it at all but, I had just paid a lot of money for it, didn't have time to return it before my event and it did make my butt and thighs look good. I would recommend that if you are curvy and short, avoid this spanx product and go for something that stops at your smallest point. I did appreciate the support in the hips and rear. Maybe it was because the top was so distracting to me that I didn't notice anything else but, the rest of it seemed quite comfortable throughout the evening. I would try spanx again but, I wouldn't buy this particular one again. Hope that helps a little! Happy shaping!

Odd rear design!

Prosuseful?
Rear end is very odd. Looked like I had a panty line!! Don't get the thinking in not making it the same fabric thruout the bottom area! I think most of us need to be pulled in down there!!
