The second you move while wearing this it rolls down from the top on the sides even with the clasp on your bra. Having 2 bulges at your side pretty much defeats the entire purpose of shape wear.

I ordered this because I've had trouble with high-waisted shapeware in the past rolling down at the top. I thought the straps that attach to the bra would be a great solution to this problem. When I received this in the mail, however, I immediately perceived the flaw with this logic: how on earth does one go to the bathroom while wearing this item??? I didn't even try it on, but returned it immediately. To smooth the belly, I much prefer the Spanx open-bust camisole: it allows you to wear your own bra (and not get squished across the bust) but also smooths the midriff, and you can also wear some kind of shaping panty if needed.
I like the Spanx products, especially this one as it firms the derriere and gets rid of muffin top. Works great and does the job and is comfortable once you get it on, but you will do some tugging to get it on and then to get it down later on. These are great in winter but really hot in summer, but at least if you sweat it gets on the Spanx and not your nice clothes!

I bought this item not long after my daughter was born. It works in theory but not in practice. I don't have any complaints about the slimming factor but the impracticality of this piece could easily be remedied with a snap crotch. Don't buy it unless the sale price makes an alteration worth it.
