After reading the reviews. . . it seems the formula was changed. Prior to 2020, the reviews were very positive, but after that it became negative.

I love this scent. It’s one of those scents that when you first spray it, it smells just okay. Kind of woodsy/floral and intense but as time goes on it’s smells wonderful and lasts long. My 8 year old son loves when I wear it so much so he’ll spray it on me if I’m not lol.
I have been wanting to buy this and finally did. It does not smell like much after and hour. A few years ago, it stayed with me all day long. Perhaps the formula has changed ? Disappointed that it wasn’t a strong as first time I tried it years ago.
I have been Alien fan for a decade or slightly less. I had my first perfume 1oz bottle engraved at Saks and it smell lasted for 6+ years. It had the most amazing staying power. Even spray on purse spray too. I don’t know what happened since L'Oreal USA took over or is it cutting corners, but this set has no lasting power at all. It’s so sad to learn this and it won’t stay on even one full hour. Pervious versions stayed even overnight. What happened? I’m very skeptical to buy a single bottle or refill. When refill I got at Nordstrom didn’t last one hour. I am about to give up completely. It’s highly disappointing. It used to stay on and my go to evening or hang out w girls type of perfume and turned many heads. Please fix Alien formula. Not the same.
