Overhyped and overrated. Old lady-ish

The bottle is kinda pretty, but this is headache-inducing and very "old lady" smelling. This was a blind buy and a quick return. Don't believe all the reviews.

You may love or hate it, but once you try Alien you'll never forget it. An iconic fragrance that shook the world for a reason. A true masterpiece. Deep beautiful jasmine, silky smooth with amber and cashmere base. Just three notes, yet Mugler was able to create one of the most unique scents, ever. Alien is a beast, it announces your presence before you even enter a room. Perfect for a date or a night out, it's unapologetically sexy and mysterious. Nuclear in power and projection, it lasts all day and beyond (original formulations at least). It's sad that with Mugler being bought by Loreal they changed the formula and Alien is not nearly as potent as it used to be, but once it was a truly beautiful creation. Will forever be my holy grail. Love the bottle design, it fits the fragrance so well. And "Alien" is a perfect name also because it genuinely feels extraterrestrial
