I love this perfume! I have a sensitivity to smells, to the point where I tend to get a head ache walking down the soap/detergent aisles in stores, so with that being said I’ve strayed away from perfumes but I received this scent in a sample size with a purchase from Sephora and I was immediately in love, the perfume is a little spendy but it’s so worth it! The scent lasts for days, I wore a hoodie for a trip to the store and hung it up when I got home, a few days later I put the same hoodie on and I was amazed I could still smell it! There’s nothing overwhelming about this scent to me, it’s classy and sexy at the same time while being long lasting.

I had a 30mL gift set alien I bought a couple years ago, and I liked it, so I had hoped it was the post-L’Oréal acquisition formulation. I was wrong. The new bottle I ordered smells terrible. It is not a matter of the fragrance aging. The new Alien smells soapy and shallow. It is also very weak. I am very disappointed in this perfume, and miss the previous Alien. The dry down has absolutely no resemblance to the Alien I love. Why did you do this?

I became acquainted with Alien in 2017, and it was the first fragrance I considered my signature. It's a classic that's also completely unique and to which nothing can compare. Though a floral fragrance, Alien is not "perfume-y"--it's airy, and sweet, and somehow cold. To my mind, Alien is the fragrance for the eccentric, the artist, and the...well, the alien. The projection and longevity are both great; it lasts at least 8 hours on my skin, and more on fabric. I definitely recommend Alien, although you should probably sample it first.
