This used to be one of my favorite scents. It was the creaminess when it dried down on my skin that I loved — it was divine and lasted all day with just a spritz. Since it has been bought out (instead of the Thiery Mugler it is now MUGLER) and reformulated. The creaminess is now replaced with more spice and the creaminess is undetectable. I even went to Macy’s to try it out just in case I got a bad batch, but unfortunately it was the same— Spicy and not creamy. I love shopping at Nordstrom and the customer service is superb! Unfortunately Alien Mugler will no longer be on my perfume shelf due to the reformulation of a classic lovely creamy perfume. To each their own; it might work for you but not for me.
I love it! Love that’s it’s refillable. My body chemistry matches it well. I used it along with Jo Malone as a layered combo. Women who complain have to know the chemistry of their own body oils and odor. This causes different reactions can cause it to be unpleasant. When trying any scent. It’s best to sample. There’s a lot of perfumes that I’ll try and it smells okay but once I put it on I hate it.
I had to return. I must've gotten the wrong one. I had a patient that smelled soooo lovely. She told me it was Alien I bought it online due to Covid 19 without smelling it. I must've gotten the wrong one. It smells like old lady.
So I have ordered this Alien Thierry Mugler from Nordstrom and Fragancenet website and find the later to be a lighter version...Also heard thThierry Mugler has been sold to the big house L 'Oreal and will be going with the name Mugler Alien "This is an a mysterious fragrance. released by Thierry Mugler in 2005It's base notes are White Amber, with woodsy middle notes and a top note of Indian Jasmine. It has quite heavy silage and is a very long lasting fragrance." Just hope L 'Oreal stays with the original formula!
