After foot/ankle surgery and cast removal, I was looking for compression hose that would keep swelling under control. I tried these and they give enough compression and support without binding. They look great on, not like the surgical compression hose. If you are on your feet all day and need hose that are sheer, yet give support, I would give these a try. My legs feel amazing after a long day on my feet. The waist band does not roll or bind, so the bonus is additional tummy support.

Great sheer hose very high waist nice control but only wore a few times before they ran! A little disappointing as they are pricey.
