These tights were very supportive during my second trimester. I don't think they would be very comfortable or fit well during the first trimester due to the expanding belly feature.
These tights seem to be good quality, but wide around back, so when I put them on I have them sticking out in the back which will of course show through the clothes unless you wear something very loose. I am in 6 mths pregnant, 5’ and about 110lb. I wish I could return them
I have worn these during both pregnancies. The shaping part is more support for the baby bump rather than the constriction of the regular Spanx. Very comfortable even for hours. The hose are a medium shade and run TTS to slightly small, so if between sizes, I would size up.
