Decent lightweight rain jacket

great 3 season rainjacket that is much more lightweight breathable than the normal waterproof breathable equivalent. Pit zips are always open to keep cool during rains in the warmer months. Only complaint -- and will be the reason for a return -- is that the waterproof layer ('coating') is completely coming off up near the neck area in little flakes each time i wear it such that there is now a sizeable spot that is no longer waterproof. A bit frustrating since the royal blue color looks no longer available.

Prosversatile
I purchased this for my son because our other son has it and loves it. It is great for outdoor activities like golf and fishing because it is lightweight and waterproof. On the other hand, they can wear it for rain protection when they go to work. Great jacket.

I bought this for my husband. It suits the purpose he was looking for....lightweight, waterproof layer with the little details North Face provides.
