Prosmoisturizing, unpleasant taste
This color was an old favorite that disappeared from the shelves for awhile. It isn't the same now. It is glossier and has an unpleasant taste. I find I can't wait to wipe it off. Disappointing. I hope they have not "improved" the other Butter Shine colors this way

Prosnon-sticky, creamy, moisturizing, smooth n creamy
The color is beautiful and very subtle. It's creamy and moist for winter. Very highly recommended.
I usually don't find anything particularly special about Clinique lipstick aside from Almost Lipstick but the Butter Shine is a stand out for the brand and all lipstick. It's incredibly moisturizing. The color is slightly sheer so when it wears off, it does so relatively unnoticeably. The formula is a cross between a typical lipstick and a colored lip balm but it has less pigment than the lipstick but the emollience of the lip balm.
In the last ten years, I have probably bought three lipsticks or glosses that I wear with any regularity and this is one of them and I keep buying it.
