I love this lipstick so much that I ordered two more, one in the same color and one in another color. The lipstick is just what it says, buttery. It goes on so smoothly and feels wonderfully moisturizing on my lips. The color was very close to the swatch on-line. Nice to order something that is and does exactly how it is marketed.
I feel like I found a lipstick that I can stick with for the rest of my life and that is a good feeling. Nice price as well!

Buttery shine in a gentle color...emollient. Doesn't last long but it looks pretty and natural.

I ordered the Clinique Buttershine in Ambrosia as I was looking for a super moisturizing product with more color than a gloss. I have used a Buttershine lipstick in another color all season, and it was great: super moisturizing with a great dense color. However, this Buttershine in Ambrosia is more like a lipstick and gets a little flakey when it's on my lips along time. It should be the same formula as my other color, so I'm not sure what's wrong. Maybe the one they sent me has been in storage too long, or maybe the Ambrosia formula is a bit different. Regardless, it is a beautiful orange/red that has just enough color to pop without looking heavy. I'll enjoy using it, but it won't be my go to gloss for everyday.
