Classic shoe, goes with everything from jeans to leggings to shorts to rompers. I like the fact that it is versatile and I am not limited to wearing it with just shorts, I wore these shoes last weekend with a dress and I got so many compliments on how cute they looked. I don't think the Vans Authentic will ever go out of style. I remember wearing these in junior high and loving each time I got a new pair or new style! I love my Vans!
I've had many pairs of Vans in the past, but I have never purchased the classic black before. The shoes are true to size, very comfortable to be walking around all day in, and the shoe laces are normal length (I have tried on this same pair in a Vans store, and I didn't purchase them because the shoe laces were so long they were like clown shoes HA). As always, my Nordstrom order arrived earlier than expected and the packaging was secure! These shoes will definitely become a staple in my closet.
