This is the 4th trimmer I've purchased to deal with nose hair. The first was shaped like a pencil with small batteries in it. It fell apart. The second was an Ace battery-powered trimmer. It doesn't do an outstanding job and is slightly painful on some hairs and harmless on others. The third was a pair of safety scissors. They don't do an outstanding job. This Zwilling Pour Homme trimmer is my current trimmer. It outdoes my previous three.
It's hand-powered--prepared for the days after after EMP weapons strike. It is painless--so painless I wondered if it was working. I've had to carefully look at the before and after to tell. In fact, it does work well on nose hairs. It also works on ear hair. When near the ear canal, you can hear the hairs being cut. That's awesome!
It appears to be made of stainless steel and is easy to clean. It also comes in a plastic case, which I imagine will aid in helping one to not lose it. (It's small.)
