Love this blanket! The color was more of a dark grey but after reading the reviews that was what I wanted. The ribs make it easy to lay evenly on the bed. It does shed but that's probably because I haven't washed it yet. Softest blanket ever!
I love Barefoot Dreams. So, so, soft and washes like a dream. I have a throw that I'm always fighting for space with the dog over, so I was looking forward to the blanket size so we both could snuggle without the blanket war. This felt super soft like the throw but the "slate blue" color was really dark. It looked more like a dirty gray. Not at all like the picture. Sad to have to return it , when it was such a great price at the Anniversary sale. Fortunately, I kept looking and was able to pick up another in the Espresso color. I'm happy to report dog and I are back to being friends again.

Not even close to worth the money

This is my second Barefoot Dreams blanket. My first blanket from BD was incredibly soft - the softest blanket I've ever tried. This one though is not at all soft, and I even felt as though it was catching on my skin. If you want one of the insanely silky soft blankets, I would buy a Barefoot Dreams blanket with bamboo - I think that is the differentiator. I have blankets from Target that are softer than this one.
