This blanket was awful. I purchased it in steel blue, but it was really charcoal, with barely a hint of blue to it. I would describe the color as a really really dirty, dusty, craggy pair of old jeans... and not in the cool/edgy way.
The texture was awful... felt kind of waxy to the touch, and the fibers were all twisted and matted down... not soft and fluffy at all. I seriously don't understand all of these positive reviews. I didn't even have to take it fully out of the box to realize there was no way I was going to put it in my lovely home.
My husband and I love to have blankets that we can bundle up in, and after falling in love with Barefoot Dreams' blardigan, I had to purchase this blanket to see if it was just as wonderful as the blardigan. Well, it definitely is!!! It's by far the softest blanket we have, and it's large enough that we can both bundle up under it on the couch. You won't regret this purchase.

Even though it was on sale, I was hesitant to buy this blanket because of the price. I'm glad I decided to buy it. It's so soft and comfy. I bought the slate, which is a great bluish/grey color. People commented about a chemical smell. I did notice a faint smell when I received the blanket, but it wasn't overpowering, and didn't make me want to return the blanket. I'm giving this blanket four stars because it's a tad thin, and also because of the price. I'm not sure what it's made out of that makes it so expensive.
