This is my second Barefoot dreams blanket and it is worth very penny! My daughter has the little lovies and receiving blankets. She's obsessed and so am I!!!
I have the barefoot dreams robe which I love, cozy and soft, so I decided to buy the blanket in white queen/king size. First it is a true optic white and there was not odor (which other reviews had mentioned). I have a king bed and the sizing was perfect. It is a soft, stretchy, chenille like fabric - I know it little different than I was used to but it is very warm and snug. I have not washed it yet but from the info on the website I'll be careful about drying. Love it very happy wth the purchase!!

Unpleasant chemical smell

Proschemical odor, oversized
I was so excited to receive this blanket as I love Barefoot Dreams' CozyChic robe. Unfortunately, this blanket had a horrible chemical smell that did not come out during the wash. I had seen a few negative reviews on the internet regarding the chemical smell, but had hoped that those were one-off issues. The smell was extremely unpleasant that I had to promptly return the blanket to Nordstrom the next day.
It's really too bad as the Barefoot Dreams throw I ordered did not have any smell at all, so hopefully the chemical smell is something that Barefoot Dreams can address in the future for this blanket.
FYI: I ordered a Queen/King sized blanket, but I really could have gone with a Twin/Full-sized blanket instead for my queen bed. The Queen/King sized blanket is oversized, and due to its very large size, it was difficult to get the blanket in/out of my standard-sized washer & dryer.
